Re: Handlebars too Wide.

i have a old pair of handlebars ( heated grips) from 2004 rockster that could be modified. these handlebars have a small bend but hey it beats paying 200.00 for new ones to modify... make an offer if you like or they go on the wall in the shed...

Can anyone tell me where to find a used left cylinder blue magnesium cover? I looked on ebay and look on Beemerboneyard to no avail. I do not want to buy new. I also need a left plastic engine guard....I still can not believe I drop this bike again!!!

Re: 04 rockster cuts out

Thanks for the info boxermania. I connected the carbon canister correctly. I left the male ends in each side so when I re-istall the tank I would not make that error. Yes four plug, all new from Beemerboneyard 24k maint kit. The first time the bike had cutout I was going straight ahead slowing down ...

04 rockster cuts out

Well - i put the "old style" belt on with the new style alt. It fits well. The "new pulley belt " was around 15% smaller and had a different part number... Now the problem - some times my bike cuts out. I mean - I will drive home from work down the highway @ 75 plus for 40 mins, ...

alt belt

I have a 2004 Rockster. I took off the alt belt and now I can not get the new one on. I have read the clymer manual and it stated to look for the triangle on the cover, well i found it after I took off the old belt with ease. Do I really have to have a dealership install the new belt? Matter of fact ...

Givi VS BMW trunk

I have a 2004 Rockster with not luggage. I can not afford the BMW trunk so I was thinking about a Givi trunk.
What do I need to make the GIVI trunk fit onto my bike?

Please advise

Thanks

Re: I need a manual ( maybe free) for a 2004 Rockster with ABS

Reid - I just feel that paying over 100.00 usd for a manual that is on a cd is just wrong. I can see paying 75 or 80 usd for a paper manual. I did not think this topic would be such a problem. I understand the basics of macroeconomics and would not want to subscribe to the criminal element. I just w...

Re: Bad day- crashed my Rockster- need tech help

Update - The bike is well. I was not thinking after ( before) the crash. The kickstand was down when I tried to put the bike in gear after the crash.
Now it is time to rebulid and restore the Bemmer.$$$

Thanks to Byrdguy and Sparky for their support.
