G'Day Tower, Here http://goprouser.freeforums.org/how-do-you-stop-foging-t7955.html is a link to a discussion on the GoPro forum regarding fogging. I have run into similar problems with my GoPro, especially on early mornings. I have not tried any of the solutions offered yet. I'll be off for a few c...

Re: First Long ride in a Long while
+1 on the boxers. I use a sports "brief" that extends 1/2 way down my thigh. It works very well, especially if you are wearing kevlar pants.
Enjoy the ride

Re: Am I a newbie since I have not posted for a couple years
I just finished installing a plexiglass shield/shelf in my left case that keeps all those items that used to rattle around in a nice tidy upright position... you know small can of honda cleaner, first aid kit, hat/beanie, glove liners, etc. etc. G'Day, I love the look of the pannier covers. I have ...

G'Day >>Anyone any experience of the Michelin Road Pilots (the first ones) as I have seen a set going cheap? I am on my second set of PR on my Roadster. I have a RP3 in front and RP2 on the rear. I don't have any experience with the first ones. First set did 18,500 kms (probably could get 20,000 kms...

Re: Reflective decals
G'Day, I used these guys: http://www.motoequip.com/RK.htm and are very happy with the product. I have had them on the bike for a few months now with no peeling or fading. I use my bike daily so they get rain, sun and dirt and still looks good. They have separate kits for the back, side, top and fron...

Re: System Case Reflector Stickers
Hi Mick, Once again thank you for the very informative reply. I might just have a good enough reason now to "upgrade" to a GS after looking at the Humvee site  The legal side is definitely a little grey here. I was concerned with the "white" on the rear of the cases, I will ...

Re: System Case Reflector Stickers
G'Day Mick, That was the picture I was looking for. They really reflects very well. :) The kit I ordered will only be enough for the side cases, I might get some additional for the top box, however it is not on the bike very often. I'm also planning some for the sides, but are not sure what yet. I'm...

Re: System Case Reflector Stickers
G'Day Scootrr, Thanks for the reply. I saw these on the 'auction site' for the same price as on their website. I've place an order for a set and should have it in 2 week's time. Did you clean the cases with something like mentholated spirits? Thank you for the picture offer, the ones on the website ...

System Case Reflector Stickers
Hi, I have a set of standard BMW system cases on my 'R. I ride in the dark on a daily basis and are looking for some options and opinions on reflective stickers / tape to put on the system cases. I found that Wunderlich has a Bag Reflector set which looks rather good. http://www.wunderlichamerica.co...

Re: Pilot road 3's installed
Hi, I have a PR3 in the front and a PR2 on the back. Aussie dealer could not get a PR3 in time. So far very impressed with the handling. Very good in wet weather. I have done about 500km on them. I had some Metzellers on the bike previously. I am also keen to see how many km's I get. I do hope it is...

Re: 03 R1150 Speedo Glass Vibration
hi,
I have a similar problem with my clock, however it is the back that vibrates. For now duck tape worked, but will see what the mechanic can do in a week's time. Will post an update then.
It took me a while to isolate it too, and it is very annoying
Cheers,
Pete

Re: Top Box
Hi, I have a 02 R with the factory grab handles/pannier racks. I installed a H&B rear rack and use a 52L Journey top box. I used it on a XCountry too. I'm very happy with the box, tough as nails, locks easily in place, waterproof and big. I can fit a large full face helmet and folded leather jac...

Re: Greetings + questions
Hi, That sounds like a very good ride. With regards to the tool question you have, I include a VERY comprehensive list from the IronButt website. It is a lot of tools :-), whether you can take them all on the plane, or on a bike without panniers may prove to be a challenge. Tool Link: http://www.iro...

Re: Turn Signal Bulbs
Hi, I have the exact problem. My bike has gone in for a service and I will collect it tomorrow. The good ting is that it was doing it as I turned into the workshop and the service manager could see what I was talking about. It has only happened twice in the last 3 weeks. I have no frayed wires, not ...

Re: New Owner and Introduction
Hi, I can now answer my own question. I took the clock assembly apart last night and could not see any loose or broken wires or connections. Put it back together and now I have a working clock back light. Good for night riding. Also fitted the H&B rear rack. I was planning a good ride for this w...

New Owner and Introduction
Hi, My name is Peter the newest owner of a 1150R. =D> I took delivery of a Dark Yellow Ferro Metallic 2002 model on Friday with 30K kms on the clock. A nice upgrade from a 650 XCountry. I have been lurking a little for a while until I got the bike. I'll take some pictures and load them up during the...
