- the recent database updates have been giving us a lot of trouble.
When one problem is fixed, another arises. We are changing database
formats today and this should make the board stable once again. I am
sorry for the delay, but I want to fix it correctly. I'll try and get
the site up tonight.

- I am updating to the new version of phpBB 3.0.1. The board will be
down for just an hour or so.

- Ok, the site is back up! We had an issue where the ISP needed to reboot
and in the process it caused an error in a database table the site uses.
It took us some time to figure out the issue but all seems to be well
now and we thankfully were able to save all of our data (posts, etc).

26th - Many of you have emailed me to let me know the site is down.
Thanks! :) Apparently, on top of exceeding the bandwidth that was alloted
to us (four times!), we managed to take down their entire Apache web
server. This server hosted several of their clients, and as a result
we have decided to create a seperate web server just for us. I am not
sure how much this will cost yet, but it has to be done, so I told them
to go ahead. This process should take a couple days, so I'd like to
ask everyone to be patient because in the end it will be worth the wait.
Hopefully we wont have these issues anymore - I consider them growing
pains as a result of migrating to the new site. We didnt realize just
how much bandwidth the forums would require, and now we pretty much
do (looks like around the 20GIG/month mark!!! WOW, thats a lot of text!).
So hang in there, we'll get this sorted out shortly.
