Thanks one and all.at least I know I'm not alone. Still it is a pretty good bike.All I did to it was remove the orange tiger stripes,put on a Akrapovic slip on,pull the charcoal can (not required in my state) and bob the rear fender. Paint blistering on rocker covers

After 8,000mi I noticed that thr blue paint was blistering on my right rocker cover around the plug wire.Bike now has 14,000mi.it's an '05. Dealer said bike is not running hot and all is well.Is it another case of "They all do that" BMW says too bad,bike is out of warrenty (please ..no gri...

I always used Metzs, M1's and M3's;but i am going to try the new Conti Road Attack 2's.

Now slippery mold release,no scary break in time,good to go from day one,lean as much as you like.

Test are in all the Mags. this month.

It's metz M-3 for me,good stick at lean angles,good in wet too.

Rear fender cut down,,help

Need a "How To" for cutting down my rear fender.I've seen bikes that have this done.I don't think its a BMW part;but the cuts look pretty "Factory"

I have one of the new Bonnies,nice enough;but I like shaft drive drive twins.Moto Guzzi makes a nice Power bike,the Griso.Anyone know anything about it.

Will the scooter company shutter Moto-Guzzi and pump up Aprilla?

I noticed that the only road only oilhead id the R1200r this year.is that it?

Don't like "dirt" bikes or GASP chain drive BMWs.

What next Scooters,not that there's ant thing wrong with that,,,Just not a BMW.

Hey Paul, snap up the staintune pipe if you can,Much better all stainless,no repacking and the bolt on tab is welded to the muffler,,no straps. I tried to fit my new Leo Vince last night,,Did Not Fit I.D. of muflet 2' o.d. OF BIKE PIPE 1 3/4" I CALLED THEM AND THEY SAID TO ADD SOME GASKET OR SH...
