Need a "How To" for cutting down my rear fender.I've seen bikes that have this done.I don't think its a BMW part;but the cuts look pretty "Factory"

I just happen to have a chopped rear fender. Its painted citrus to match my Rockster, but I never got around to putting it on the bike. Includes wiring and all. Interested?

Take a piece of chalk and draw the line you'd like to see the fender look like. Then take a dremel with a cutting wheel and chop away!

I cut mine down too. I marked it then scored it with a razor knife. I actually used a hacksaw to cut it the used a file and sand paper to finish.
I have actually rounded the corners more since these pictures and added a strip of rubber under the plate. Looks good though.
