Fuel line quick disconnects

I just changed the one of the old plastic ones to a new metal one and now bike doesn't seem like getting enough gas. I have to keep idle on high or throttle up to keep running otherwise it shuts down after a couple seconds. It really has a hard tome starting...any thoughts...HELP.

crackling noise

I have a 2004 r1150rt and it has started making a crackling or frying bacon noise when cranking it open around 4000rpm. Can anybody tell me what that may be?
thanks

Re: seat height

Thanks for input everybody. At this point I am willing to sell/trade my Corbin seat for a lower seat. It is to big for me and will cost too much to reshape. The Corbin also has a backrest with it for an extra 100 bucks.

seat height

I have a 2004 R1150RT which is great but I also have a short inseam and have to lean the bike a little when stopped. It currently has a Corbin seat (came with it) on it and lowered to lowest setting. Is there anything else or another seat which might be better?
Thanks,
dwheels

brake pads and manual

Can anybody steer me in the right direction for getting replacement pads for my 2004 R1150R and a service manual? I bought it used and this is my 1st beemer....love it!!!
Is it simple enough for a non-mechanic? Also, do I have to bleed the brakes?
Thanks

system cases

Does anybody know where I can find used or discounted ones for my 2004 R1150R. Also, are any other cases compatible, like RTs or RSs?

Thanks
