Can anybody steer me in the right direction for getting replacement pads for my 2004 R1150R and a service manual? I bought it used and this is my 1st beemer....love it!!!
Is it simple enough for a non-mechanic? Also, do I have to bleed the brakes?
Thanks

I purchased the 1150 shop manual for mine and use the oilhead maintenance manual as reference. They seem to work pretty good together. Pad's, well there's a ton of different opinions on this forum, but I went with BMW pads.
This forum also has a ton of information on it with regards to anything that Beak's or Rock's. If you find the site useful, become a member, it takes cash to keep this thing running.
Here's the link to the oilhead manual.

WRT to brake fluids/bleed, I change out all my fluids every spring before I ride, and sync my TB's.
Cheers
