Just picked up my new seat from Tony Archer of Huddersfield . Absolute bargain, top quality and service. £80 to lower the seat (88 Euros or $110) and recover, (new foam as the BMW seat cover was fixed to the foam). No wonder Mr Archer has a workshop full of seats.
He would have done it while I waited, colour coded piping and also put a gel pad in if I wanted. Shame an awful lot of you won't be able to use his services .
Hello fellow r1200r owners, first time poster here
I've just got my bike, and what a fantastic bike it is too. I got it secondhand and it came with the low seat fitted which was much too low for me.
So i too went to tony archer to have it raised two inches and like SG i think he's made a great job of it
He's only a couple of miles from where i work which is handy
Here's a coupleof snaps.

LOL i've only just noticed that. It was a camping weekend and maybe he's taken his seat off to sleep on it
