Custom Made Seat

Post by SG »

Just picked up my new seat from Tony Archer of Huddersfield :D . Absolute bargain, top quality and service. £80 to lower the seat (88 Euros or $110) and recover, (new foam as the BMW seat cover was fixed to the foam). No wonder Mr Archer has a workshop full of seats.

He would have done it while I waited, colour coded piping and also put a gel pad in if I wanted. Shame an awful lot of you won't be able to use his services :( .

Hello fellow r1200r owners, first time poster here :D

I've just got my bike, and what a fantastic bike it is too. I got it secondhand and it came with the low seat fitted which was much too low for me.
So i too went to tony archer to have it raised two inches and like SG i think he's made a great job of it :smt023
He's only a couple of miles from where i work which is handy
Here's a coupleof snaps.

Looks great and welcome. I'm look at the three bike picture and wondered how the middle bike's ride was? Is the cushion in the seat of the rider? [-o<
