Welcome aboard Duke. With a bit of luck and a following wind, the SEUKers will be meeting up in Horam when the weather improves. Hope you'll come along. From another "Orange Evil Cousin" to the R1150R breed [Eugenics does work - occasionally]

Have a look at the Acer 35N. It's actually a PDA [Word, Excel, etc] but also comes with "Destinator" GPS software and is ideal on the bike. The unit goes in your pocket [so you can't walk off and leave it at a fuel/grub stop] and a remote antenna can be stuck on your shoulder, with directi...

Two things. 1; Put thread lock on the bolts [one of mine came out on a ride]. 2; Don't know about "R's" but on Rocksters the hugger makes cleaning in the bikes "important little places" more difficult.

My local BM dealers recommends Pyramid huggers.

Hi Doug. Yes, I absolutely agree that we are "lesser" beings if we haven't paid our dues. I see my Customers as different if they don't sign up to contracts - that's entirely fair enough. But whoa! Your last tirade against "Rice" was out of order. He's asked you a civil question ...

Boys & Girls, there's a serious problem here. "DJ" is [was] a central "plank" of this site and yet, somehow, he feels allienated enough to want to hang up his boots. I realise [and accept] there needs to be a certain number of rules to enable the board to function but, no mat...

Je*us wept, 400+ miles a day for 21 days! You must have an a*se made of steel. I've just bought a Sargent so that I can just manage the tank range in one go, let alone that distance! I'm full of admiration . :?

Hi Doug. This is not "a private matter" as, unless we all dredge every single post, we have absolutely no idea what this is all about. All we can see from the outside is that Dallara has been banned for no aparent reason. You say that Pat has been "warned of his equally inappropriate ...

No probs with the "Y" piece but both "Riceburner" and I have had probs with the baffle breaking free of its weld in the silencer and falling out, so there are issues with their quality.

Thanks very much for your input guys. My Sargent arrived yesterday and I'm impressed with the build quality, fit and feel [only inside the garage, as there was freezing fog last night and I'm hung over this morning!]. It seems a lot better than the stock seat and at £220 it's a lot cheaper than t...

Well Jbuz, it's rare I see a modified bike that's an improvement on the original but that I like. I have a Rox, so the front end is almost there [just the mudguard to sort]. The left hand side of the Rox looks good without the plastic bodywork [under the seat] but the right has a load of wiring bits...
