I think the weather makes a diff. On cooler days 40's-50's I notice the bike runs its best. All the bikes I've had ran nicer. Also heard this from other riders

I installed mine just as the insuct. said. After 1 day of looking at it I removed the turn signals and put the side covers on. U can use only one snap on each side. (would have to look but think it was the back )Almost 7000 miles and both are still on. No problem.

I put a parabellum scout on and I did put the
trim back on. The trim is only held on by one of the snaps but after700 miles they haven't come off. If they do it will still be hanging on the turn signal. And then its time for the duct tape.

04. Mine has been doing it from day 1. Never tried to fix it. Thought it would go away when the day comes to replace the pads. I'll keep watching the board for a answer. Thanks for the post .

Yes It's made to fit without risers. But if you have them(risers) they need to be flat (flusch) on top.

I use a BMW motorrad key fop. ( page 129 of the 2004 riders apparel catalog) A small remote fits in it perfect. Zip it tight with the key left out . I don't know if its water proof but never had a problem opening the door in the rain. And it just the right size so you can feel it in your pant pocket...

After trying a few different sheilds over the last 2 summers I ordered mine on Jan 31st or Feb 1st. They said about 4 to 6 weeks. From what everyone says it sounds like the answer.

Barbacks and parabelum scout

Anyone have the names of the barbacks(risers) that are flat on top to fit with the parabellum scout fairing? I have Verholens on now and I know they wont fit with it. I know of the Wunderlick and Genmar but thought there was another one out their I saw once but cant locate it on a search. The scout ...

Anything Negative? (Parabellum Scout)

Been reading only positive things about the Parabellum Scout. Is there any negative feedback from anyone? Even if its minor? I'd like to here it all before I spend the $$.

I agree with MIXR. Its on the left. Mine looks same after I push it around the garage. Take it for a ride and look at it again without pushing it after you stop
