Marsee 22L rack bag

Post by frbank6 »

I just got the Marsee 22L rack bag and thought I would let everyone know how it is. I already have the Corona tank bag and it's a perfect match to it. It seems to be very well made and will accomodate an Igloo cooler perfectly. There are three external zipper pockets and a fourth zippered area more for papers or documents. The interior is silver so things are easy to see inside. A rain cover and shoulder straps are included. I found this at Sierra Trading Post. If you go to sierratradingpost.com and search by brand name, on the left, you will find it listed near the bottom of the results page. I think this can also mount on the seat, but have not tried that yet. It is a perfect fit for the rack on the R1150R.

I have the same tail bag. I love this bag. Clip-connectors seem more secure than bungie style. Lots of reflective on it as well. Took it across the country with no probelms or failure. I'd say it's pretty rugged and good value for the $$.

Ivan,
There are pics of the mounted tail bag on my site. I don't think there are any close-ups though.
