the plastic map case on mine disintegrated after one summer.

My BMW R1200R bag is a big disappointment because the plastic map holder went yellow and then disintegrated this summer on my trip out to Wyoming. Meanwhile my brother in law has a map holder on his bag that is thirty years old and still clear and intact.

Obviously the thing to do is purchase the HP2. It's ridculous to pay $700 just for the cylinder head covers.

Clunk versus snick....what's the secret?
sometimes the shift is as smooth as butter, a nice snick, let out the clutch and you're on your way. Other times it's a horrendous clunk that sounds like the gears are going to fall out of the case. What's the secret to smooth gear changes?

I had three copies made by a local locksmith for about $5 each. There was nothing hard about it.
