Nice.. :smt023 ..nice exhaust..nice cut down fly screen..even the 1100 grab rail looks good..but where's the roundel on the oil coolers.?

All you need now is a wheelcap for that rear wheel..( http://www.users.bigpond.com/hayneskld/ )..to stop the water getting in.

What's that hanging down under the headers?....and where's the beak.. ..you know you can't call it a beakster now.. :D

Maybe it's to let the cats know that there is a quiet bike sneaking up behind them and could run over them if they don't run away.. :D

When a Harley doesn't work its the bad spirits to blame, and not poor workmanship, so a bell is a good solution to keep them on the road :smt046

Maybe they should throw an exorcism in the package deal :smt046

A bell on an R is playing it safe ??

I suggest that it is more about selling bells for a questionable purpose. (always the curmugeon!)

You just need to get rid of that charcoal canister to finish the job. Nice!

thank you

Post by bubbleman21 »

thanks for the compliments. you're awesome. to answer some questions, the beak & i parted awhile ago. as a matter of fact, the beemerboneyard gave me the r1100r grab handle in exchange for it. my bell was a carryover from my shortlived harley days. the roundels got painted over, but i ordered new ones to keep people from asking what type of motorcycle my girl is. the wheel cap is a great idea & "should" be the last comestic related thing i'll do. :D as for the cannister, i think it is needed here in california, or is it? peace

I doubt if very quiet without the muffler. Probably not good for the valves either. These bikes are meant to be stealty, not loud and ostentatious.
