another new R1200R

Hello! Been lurking for about a month now. Ordered R1200R the first of Feb. Dealer says it's on a dock in New York. Got the Granite Gray. Looking for aftermarket parts. Everything is her fault! After riding her 650 it took me back almost 30 years. Looking forward to riding something that's fun to throw around. See you on the road.

Wow - I'm EXTREMELY jealous. I ordered my bike in January 2007 and still don't have it. As a matter of fact, I JUST received an order acceptance and am expecting a production date by the end of this week. Which means it still has to be built in Berlin and then shipped.

Am feeling a bit flogged by my dealer at the moment.

Red: I know EXACTLY what you mean about being transported back 30 years! I rode a 12R service loaner back home from the shop in Jan. Rode it back the next day and bought a new one. After 37 years of riding, the last 25 or so behind a full fairing, etc, it was and continues to be, a hoot to ride. If you liked her 650, you're going to love the 12R! Congrats.
