Wife's bike totalled

Post by Moore4u »

Luckily, she wasn't on it. We had my wife's 2005 kawa Nija 500 on consignment at the local BMW shop. They had it out by the road on display and some lady lost control of her car and took it out, along with four other bikes. I guess it sold pretty quick huh?

That's one way to get rid of one.
Hmmm?...My wife's little Suzuki probably needs to be more visible.

I'm sorry, but that is pretty funny.

I was afraid when I saw your thread that the wife might have been "totaled" too, & you just had "special" priorities.

I would hope the dealer has insurance for this, or is it back on you to haggle with the lady's insurer? I guess the price set on the bike would be a good starting point. I wonder if the dealer will take their consignment commission out of your settlement?
