Hi all:

I have the Cee Bailey screen installed. It looks great, and as a nice touch, even comes with the gromets installed, so no need to find some for the BMW mounts, or pull the gromets out of the tall screen.

I will be making a 100 mile run tomorrow, weather permitting, and will give a report with some photos when I return.

My preliminary impression is that this screen should be a winner, because I am looking over the screen be about 4 inches, so that should put the wind turbulence over the helmet and quiet things down greatly.

A nice touch, lacking in the BMW screen, is that the Cee Bailey guys have put an upward lip at the top edge of the screen to lift the air upward as it exits the screen,

I will let the group know the results in 24 hours !

I have received the 20" Cee Bailey Touring windscreen and have it mounted on the bike. I will post a ride report later today on the above website.

Great pictures. However Rocky's avatar makes it hard for me to concentrate. When I came to I found that my coffee had gotten cold and the inside of my mouth was dry from where I had apparently held it open too long.
Back to the subject. I am going to have to get myself a slightly larger windshield for my R1200R. So I'll be watching your posts with interest.

Holy Moly! That's alot of coverage. I went out for a short ride today with my sport screen and did not get too cold at 40. I had planned on getting a R100S type screen for my bike but don't know now. The sport screen may be enough for warm weather riding although I like the looks of the old "S" type screen. With my old 82 R100RS I liked the airflow of the stock windshield although many didn't . I have considered GS type handgaurds also.

Hi Mark: The sport screen is ok, however it is a slight bit too tall for me. It puts the wind blast on the chin of the helmet and causes a lot of wind noise from the base of the helmet. If it were about an inch shorter the blast would be under the helmet and over my shoulders. I will probably keep the sport screen and play with it for hot weather, as it really does a good job of getting the wind pressure off my chest.
