Not surprising. Tigers are more mobile on land than crocs. Had the tiger been in water however and it would be a different story. It's all about what environment you belong in.
As for the comment about man, well, the trigger pull on my rifle is about 5 lbs.

I didn't think that a tiger could kill a croc because I assumed that they would have to sink their teeth into the throat in order to kill it. I guess that a chomp into the back of the skull is just as effective.
Tigers really are amazing species. Enigmatic, beautiful and extremely deadly. They have been called the most deadly land predator.
I'm gonna do a sculpture of a tiger soon. I'll sculpt him in full attack mode.
