Cordura Jacket

Post by Mclintoc »

I bought a cordura jacket a couple years back from BMW. At first it was impervious to rain. Now it soaks right through. I clean it will dish soap and water, that's it. Has anyone else had this happen? Have I done something wrong? I bought a pair of cordura pants last year and I would like to sing a different song with them.

Ride, Ride, Ride, the Harvest Moon tonight tells a sad tale--winter nears.

Mclintoc, I'm not sure about the cordura jacket from BMW, but many socalled waterproof products need to be "Treated" from time to time. to retain there waterproof qualitys, Again, I am not sure but you might check into it, Den

Nikwax TX-Direct Wash-In is your friend!

Check out their special detergent that protects the DWR. It eventually wears off of any garment, especially if you wash it.
