The guy brought it on himself. First of all, he bought a piece of junk. Secondly, it didn't mention but I'm guessing that he was riding with a doorag on his head ala Peter Fonda.

He did have a head injury didn't he ? A friend of mine got a head injury from a crash, but he was doing in excess of 150 mph when he left the road and plowed a furrow 100 yds long. He was wearing the best armor money can buy and he's fully recovered now. Stupid, but still he knew the value of good gear.
I'm a little surprised about the "well known defect" Harley's frame setup is hardly new. They certainly haven't been engaging radical steering geometery experiments that caused this unfortunate accident. Harley's lawyers will make this guy a little settlement and go on about their business.

This same thing happened to our very own, "Born2Bwyld" who used to frequent this board often. He now rides an 1150RT...and rides it well I might add!
He totalled his Harley due to the mysterious front end wobble...
