Hey Guys,
My drive shaft seal is causing a drip by the boot right on to my tire. Brought the bike for service and supposedly they fixed the problem. Only problem is it leaking even worse than before.
My question is do I need to heat the rear end by the bolt to remove said bolt or can I just pop it. I think I can perform the seal change with the help of a friend.
If not does anybody know a good repair shop in Greece?

Leaking Rear End
Hello:
I have been battling rear end leaks since I got my Rockster six months ago. If you are trying to replace the seal on the wheel hub, you just need to heat up the assembly with a heat gun and it will fall off the hub cover. This cover has an "o" ring which I had to replace twice and after a few hours of riding, leaked again. After listening to a BMW mechanic, I applied silicone to the cover and stopped the leak. If your leak is through the input shaft, you need a special tool to remove the seal carrier/nut. The procedure is clearly explained in the Clymer manual.
