The one on the right in this picture was supplied to my pal Motorcycling Mo for his enormous 1150 GSA as a SpeedBleeder.

I looks nothing like the silver Goodridge item on the left which is fitted to my bike.
But on the Bay, all the so-called Goodridge SpeedBleeder pictures are like the one on the right.

So ¿ is this a new version with a tiny one-way valve hidden somewhere inside - if so, how does one open and close the nipple for the start and end of the bleeding process ?



Any help from someone who's recently fitted a Goodridge would be muy apreciado

Thanks to Merlin Motorsport in the UK for this cross-sectional drawing of the new small SB by Goodridge. So it DOES have a one-way ball-valve, albeit microscopically small.

Apparently, you crack open the nipple a smidgeon before starting to do the bleed, then snug it down tight with your 11mm spanner /wrench after all the bubbles, etc., have gone their own sweet way down into the collecting jar.

Let's hope they work !
