Waiting for my R850r/1150r Shocks from Hagons today

Post by peril66 »

Hi All, Hagons are putting the finishing touches to my R850r rolling project this afternoon.
Its getting new shocks front and back 1150/850 MU owners may be interested to know that Hagons have just prototyped the bike and are now offering replacement shocks for this model.

I do not work for Hagons and not related etc. but i have had 3 bikes fitted with thier equipment and have been very impressed with service and quality so have taken the time to post this, i will update this post tomorrow after i have given the bike a long spin.

What did a set of Hagons set you back?

Interesting!! Hagons are good shocks - I had a pair on my old Ducati TL600. Bit harsh, but I imagine they're more up to date these days.

Interestingly - the 850 shocks are also used on the Rockster - certainly the rear, and I THINK the front - will need to check the part numbers.
Non quod, sed quomodo.

I ordered a Hagon for the rear and it took a month to get! They said the remote preload adjuster was the hold up. Installed it yesterday. Haven't ridden it yet. Looking forward to a better handling bike!

Hagons are £300.00 front or back if you want rear remote preload adjuster that is an extra £125.00 will post my thoughts on them when i get the bike back.
i have always liked Hagon shocks when fitted.

Ahh, busy week or 2, so Hagon Shocks,,,,,, really great! smooths out the low speed stuff stiffens nicely when you get quicker, and quieter, they dont make a racket when you hit a bump like the standard ones did on mine.
all in all well worth the money, i would get the remote preload adjuster because its hard to reach otherwise.

:D :D :D :D
