When you say that the cases don't fit, is it the mounting 'fingers' or the locking area that is giving you problems? My bike was equipped with the Givi frames when I bought it, but the previous owner had modified the plate to mount a Shad top box. When I bought a V46 case for my bike, I had to buy a new M5 plate because the latch for the locking mechanism had been ground away on the old plate.

Good luck on getting the problem sorted.

Do you have the PLX688 mounting setup? That only works with the V35 Monokey cases. It's kind of confusing - most Monokeys mount the same, but the P35s are different and don't mount on the regular Monokey stuff, nor can the regular Monokey cases mount on the PLX688 rack.
