Does anyone have soft luggage/panniers?

Post by badbs101 »

I'm interested in soft luggage. Do you know if soft panniers mount without having to add support bars? I'm looking for something I can throw on and go. Looking at Wolfman soft luggage system but am open to others. Any soft luggage pics are appreciated too.

I have the soft luggage from Kriega (www kriega com). Quite pricey but excellent stuff. I have the US30 and a US10 strapped together. Kriega has straps which are attached to the rear frame (and if not needed hide under the seat) and the bags are fixed to the straps by alloy hooks. Works like a charm and 100% waterproof.

I also have the Kriega. I throw it on the pillion for day trips where I need to carry a rain suit, or run some errands. I use the hard sidebars for longer trips.

+1 Kriega. I have 10's, 5's and 20's. I keep a 20 on the ass-end at all times with tire pump, odds/ends, battery tender, etc.
