woo-hoo!

Post by jkhomes »

Just got my 09 R1200R back from the shop for my 24,000 mile service and a pair of new Michelin PR3 tires. Sandia BMW even washed it for me, and there were more than a couple bug splats from last Sunday afternoon. It was really hard to ride straight home and go back to work this morning, I wanted to just keep going. I just put a new battery in, so I should be good on everything for a while, except I am still jonesing to upgrade the suspension.

I have a 5 day trip planned to Colorado in June and am really excited to go. Plus at least one day playing hookey next week and the week after that.

So this is not a technical or discussion item, but I knew you all would understand my excitement.

Hey, John,
Nice people at both of the Sandias, having the pleasure of dropping in for service on the Santa Fe one last Nov and a look-at-my-starter one about 3 weeks ago in ABQ.
Safe trip to Co, and take some pix

Its great to get excited about one's bike. I'm sure the suspension upgrade will be serious bucks? $1.5K?

Enjoy your trip in June and take lots of pics to share here. I have a trip planned with a buddy, we're headed to Toronto Canada for a total of 6 days including a two day road trip upto and along the Trans Canada Highway in Northern Ontario in mid July. I cannot wait.
