Fuel Pressure Controller (FPC)

Post by MTBeemer »

Some chatter going on over on the BMWMOA about problems with the FPC failing and different methods of bypassing it for roadside recovery. First I've heard of this as an issue. Anyone with an RR ever have one fail?

It seems to be an issue with other models. Apparently on some (lesser) models the location of the FP Controller is such that water puddles around it and eventually leaks in causing it to fail.

I have heard of no R12R's having this fail.

Thanks Don. It seems that many of the common issues with other models of the R1200 series are not so common on the Rs. I like that.
