What happened when setting the clock?

Post by Widetrack »

Hi all, when setting the time after unhooking the battery for a fuse block install I inadvertently discovered a bunch of code numbers for what I have no idea. One line of 2 digits, one line of 3-4 digits, and one line of 6-8 digits and a letter of two. I scrolled through several screens of these numbers and could not figure how to get back to the clock. Cut the switch off for several seconds then back on and everything appears fine the bike started OK. What did I do? What are these numbers/screens? Could I have changed some program or values and screwed things up?

thanks

Probably not. Sounds as if you got into the computer's diagnostic mode -- I'd guess it's read-only as a failsafe.

Is that reproducible? It sounds interesting and I don't think you messed something up. You may have found a way to read out bike stats without a diagnostic device. I wasn't aware that this is possible.
