Newbie to this forum, ordered my new Red Apple R1200R today after a test ride. Looking to pick her up in the next couple of weeks, it will be a big change from my Buell XB12Scg.

Bike collected yesterday and a fun filled 60 mile first ride in heavy showers. First service booked in just over a week, then the real enjoyment can begin.

First service carried out last Monday so I can begin to play with the revs
Money spent so far, Akrapovic can, smoked sport screen, system panniers, tank bag, small softbag 2, rear luggage rack.
First decent ride organised for Sept through France and Switzerland to enjoy some spirited days in the Alps.

Yep, based in Brackley.
I took a test ride from Wollaston in Northampton but ended up buying from North Oxford, as I got a better deal, and Wollaston did not bother getting back to me with a price on my part ex.

Interesting. I bought from Woolaston, and to this day, every time I have been back in there just to browse or have a coffee, the salesman that sold me my bike has never even bothered to say hello to me. When I was a Triumph man, every salesman in the store knew me on first name terms, and ALWAYS said hello when I went in.
I think Woolaston, or rather this particular salesman, could learn a lot.
