Goodbye Rockster

Post by manlio »

After 4 years, 28,000 miles and many great lots of memories, one little spill turned out to be too much and my Rockster was totaled. I am sorry to see it go.

Thanks to all of you folks on the forum for all the expertise and help you provided,

Thanks for asking, Riceburner.
I am totally fine. I lost traction on a wet ramp on the Brooklyn Queens Expressway.
Driven that ramp some 2,000 times, and all of a sudden the rear wheel just slipped away and Rockster and me fell on the left side. I was back on my feet in a fraction of a second, not a scratch, just to see the bike sliding and finally hitting the curb, left side pretty damaged.
The insurance offered too much money for totaling the bike and I did not say no.

Now looking at a Multistrada...
