2011 owner's manual

I noticed different run-in RPM limits and a necessary heat shield for a System Case. I love manuals.

Yes, I wondered about heat shield - does new model run hotter or is the case closer? Never aware of a problem before.

Like the bit about keeping twisty hilly roads while running in!

Thanks Don.

Case Heat Shield, great... #-o Item #482 on the list.

I checked the bottom of my case and did not note anything out of sorts or discolored. I commute with the cases more often than not. Looks like a doable project to fabricate one. :-k

The retrofit kit heat shield for the left system case is part 77427729294 — no price listed at Max's or Chicago BMW.
