Membership expiration - early warning

Post by Doug »

It that time of year when I finally get around to looking at the membership lists and see who has expired, and then I go through the laborious task of removing people's online status and privlidges who are expired. So to that point, if you think you may be expired (or know), and want to renew, it would save some effort to do it sooner rather than later. I will be going through this process in the next few days (or the end of next week at the latest, depending on what order I go in).

So if you want to renew, please go ahead or let me know. If you don't and see your member status change ,this is why!

Just want to also say thanks to all of those that do support the site, I and everyone appreciates it because without the monetary side of the site, there is no web side! :) Cheers, Doug

I have enjoyed and learned from this site for a while now, and I appreciate your "early warning" post. Paid up this morning, with thanks for your good work and all the excellent contributions to the site - especially the R1200R forum.

Thanks jroad.

Here is the list of people that expired.. its a big list because I haven't done this in a couple years. I'm REALLY bad that way, but I intend to be better about this stuff. Its a really manual process to remove users, so I dread it..this go around it took me a few hours.. anyway, if you see yourself on this list, and your "member" title changed to "registered user" than you have expired! If you would like to renew, please go here: http://www.r1150r.net/paypaldonate.html

Thanks for everyone's really generous support over the years. We've been able to keep it going, growing and serving since 2001 - can you believe it we'll be 10 years old in August!! It is a lot of work to carry a site like this, but with the help of our awesome moderator crew, and the informational and monetary support of the users, it really is a pleasure to be part of r1150r.net. I love helping foster something that provides real value to so many people.

Anyway, cheers to you all, and for those of you on the east coast with me, may the warm weather come soon!

Sorry if I missed something obvious, but how do we tell when our membership is expiring? I don't see an expiration date for my membership anywhere in the user control panel.

unfortunately we're not that sophisticated.. I dont know how to link the management program to the website. You just have to ask me, or search for your old registration email.. or ask me. You're up in July!
