How do people find WP shocks as replacement shocks over standard on the r series of bikes?

Excellent replacement. However all aftermarket shocks (whether WP or Oehlins or Wilbers) tend to be much stiffer than the stock shocks. If you prefer a more softer set-up you need to mention that specifically when ordering.

It also depends on the road condition. Here in Germany the conditions are very good moreover I prefer a more sportier riding style hence the stiffer set-up suits me well ...

I had never ridden a BMW before this bike, and thankfully never rode it with the stock suspension. After 60k miles and previous owners who left the bike out in all weathers all year round the bike needed a lot of tlc, both shocks were well worn out.

If anyone can offer setup advice it would be appreciated!
