mirrors for r1150r

Post by vexlak »

Does anyone have lollipop mirrors for sale? Sadly a mishap broke the left completely a cracked right one. I purchased the cheap (yet good looking) mirrors from Ebay (item 260615737270). It would fit perfectly except the threaded rod they supplied is ½” short. I tried to get it somewhere without success. I could drill the handle bar to accommodate the supplied rod, yet I chose not to. Just in case I do not like them I can go back to the lollipop. I also read that someone installed the RS mirrors from certain year. Any help is appreciated. If someone can help making the rod I would gladly pay. Will post photo if necessary.

I'd love to sell you mine, but I'm in Afghanistan, and the bike is locked in a storage container until April, and no one I know lives close enough (and has the key) for it to be economical to have them go remove said mirrors. Have you tried beemerboneyard? I assume buying factory new ones would be cost prohibitive.

I believe it is the R1100RS mirrors that fit, but the left hand side needs some light modification due to the high idle lever.

Here are the K mirrors. They do have to be modified to fit. I think it's just one side though. I bought my bike with them already on so I can't help with what actually has to be done. Several others here have though.

I have the original round ones, sitting in a box in my garage, unused and lonely. One has a small scratch.

You can have them for just the cost of shipping. PM me.
