Yea, me too. I figure the value I get out of this site demands I contribute.

Latest example. I was at the BMW dealer and bought 4 of those squash nuts that go in the windshield. These nuts stretch and wear out over time. The dealer charges $6.50 a piece for these nuts. The same day, while researching something else on this site, I came across someone's comment that these nuts can be purchased at Home Depot or Lowe's. Over to HD I went, and ended up buying 4 more at $.95 each. The difference, with tax, came pretty close to $25.

To be fair, BMW squash nuts are a little nicer than Home Depot squash nuts, but certainly not $5.50 worth. Needless to say, back to BMW they went.

Though I'm not positive I will be keeping my '02 R1150R for the long term (I'm a bit miffed at it right now), I joined anyway, this is a great site!
