Found the difference between the "low" and "extra-low" seat

Post by blueviewlaguna »

I replied to an older post about this, but thought it was worth letting the members know via a separate post of another BMW seat option that I have not seen discussed anywhere.

After finding 2 "low" seats on BMW's parts listing, I had the dealer order both the "low" - 770mm version (52537698379), and an "extra-low" - 770mm version (52537713114).

Today, I had a look at both side-by-side - the "extra-low" - 770mm version is the exact same height as the "low" - 770mm version BUT the main saddle is about 30mm closer to the handlebars, making it a "770mm low, 30mm forward" version. It does not have any side notches like the long ones on the "low" - 770mm version or the shorter ones on the Bench seat, black 800MM.

Side by side pictures would be helpful if you have them both... I'm a visual learner :D

Any one have pics of the high seat? Thinking of getting one. Is the hump for passenger sill present high version or is it like a bench seat?
