Any advice for a novice mechanic Valve adjustment?
I keep hearing a knock and I realize It's been awhile since I had the valves done at the 12,000 mile service, and am thinking of taking the job on myself....

Valve adjustment is fairly simple for someone with a little of mechanical ability, there are soem recent posts in the R1150R forum regarding the procedure. There are also a couple of videos available.
