My wife has a 2002 R1150R - 11,000 miles. Has not been ridded in 3 mos - battery is fully charged.
Replace Qd's with metal ones form Bemmer Boneyard today. Did not attempt to start bike before QD's were repalce.
Repalce QD's - try to start bike - fule pump resets, nothing when you push starter button - no clicking, starter turonover, whining, etc. - nothing but silence.
Removed tank - checked all connetctions - healight, horn, signals, hyperlights, - everything is working with switch on - just not start - like the start button is bad?
I welcome all suggestions - THANK YOU FOR YOUR INPUT!

Easiest answer first...check the kill switch on the start button.
I was dreaming when I wrote this, forgive me if it goes astray...

Does the fuel pump run when you turn the key on?
Oh- yeah, you said that...sorry.
Could be a loose or bad starter relay, try tapping it. It's in the front left-hand corner of the fuse box, I think it's white.
You could check to see that the relay is getting 12vdc with a voltmeter at the solenoid terminal when you push the start button, and also at one of the switched contacts (12vdc should be present there whenever the key is on). Just ground the black lead of your voltmeter and stick the other lead in the proper terminals' receptacle in the plug after pulling the relay out.
That at least rules out some things...

Thanks for the suggestions - side stand up, bike in nuetral - will not start on centerstand or off - fuel pump resets everytime - nothing when the starter button is pushed.
Baffled - guess I will be visiting the dealer.

all fuses good??
Try jumping the solenoid contacts and see if it will turn that way. If it will then there is something wrong between the switch and the relay. I.E. a fuse. But I don't have a fuse diagram infront of me so I'm not sure which fuse is the crank fuse.
