Hornig sport screen for R1200R
I want to buy a sport screen from Hornig for my R1200R, someone some experience with this type of wind screen?
Re: Hornig sport screen for R1200R
I have got the High Windscreen on this horning page.

It was labled a Givi when I bought it from another member here on this forum. I use it during the summer and it is pretty good. Not to much buffeting and keeps me warmer than the sport screen. In the summer though I go back to the sport as I like the air and the looks of the smaller screen.
The larger screen goes on and off in just a minute or two (4 screws). You are in Belgum? If the mailing were not prohibitively expensive I would mail it to you and let you try it out.

What is happening to my skin?
Where is that protection that I needed?
Air can hurt you too

Re: Hornig sport screen for R1200R
I like the idea of the Horning high windscreen. Is the mentioned mounting kit all one needs or is the BMW touring bracket required? I currently have the sport shield.
I have tried other windscreens in the past and made the experience that the wrong shape or size can make matters a lot worse rather than improve them. How is the noise level with the Horning shield? Does it deflect the air in a steady stream or do you feel pulsating bursts of air?
