So what is she? She arrived last week, a little early but that was just the icing on the cake. A December 24th delivery, just in time for Christmas. 'O8 model with all the bells and whistles including a composite stainless steel and chrome factory exhaust. I like the blue of the headers that you get with the chrome but prefer the stainless look on the muffler. So the dealer put it together for me. Computer, ABS, ASC, ESA, RDC, tinted sports shield and she even came with a BMW Motorrad cover.
My previous bike is an '07 F800ST that my wife is now the custodian of. Not certain who has the bigger grin on their face. She has always accepted my babble about how great BMW's are with a smile and a nod. But now she feels that warm glow that comes from owning one of these stunning machines.
Anyway, enough about her - this is my opportunity to show you what my new baby looks like (and my previous love).
