ROSSI WINS AGAIN!!
I don't know how many of you are into MotoGP but I was pretty excited to see Valentino Rossi win the MotoGP Championship again this year. It was a pretty good race at Motegi this past weekend too, at least for the first half. I just enjoy seeing him race for the same reason I loved watching Michael Jordan play basketball, Rossi has completely dominated this year. Probably the best rider to ever live, and will be for a long time.

Rossi's pretty good but Casey's not bad either.
I was there last weekend and it was fantastic.
My friend Ian was a track marshal on turn one.
I went down with a friend who rode her Guzzi.
Sorry I didn't get many pics.

DJ, that does it for me, I'm moving to Australia! I get to see the ocean maybe once every two years. Is real estate down there as overly priced near the ocean as it is here in the States?
Not to start a fight, because I agree completely that Stoner is not bad, he's actually pretty good. BUT, I really lost a lot of respect for him after Laguna Seca when he criticized Rossi for riding unfairly and too aggressively. I loved Jeremy Burgess's response though that maybe Stoner should have ridden years ago with Kevin Schwantz, Wayne Rainey, and Mick Doohan, because it would have been a lot worse.
Still though, Stoners good (and congrats to him on his Phillip Island win), but he's just not quite on Rossi's level (yet). But no one is now, even the great Giacomo Agostini's accomplishments have been exceeded by Rossi.

Re: ROSSI WINS AGAIN!!
I was at the Aussie MotoGP too - I think the Phillip Island story wasn't so much Stoner or Rossi (both prefromances much their usual). I thought it was the way Tozeland just kept chucking his bike at Rossi until the Rossi finally got away from him. Very gusty effort, Mr Tozeland!
.. as an aside, this was my first MotoGP trackside - last races I went to were 500cc GP. I was simply blown away by the sound of them!!! Mind you, the best sound of the weekend was the two-up Ducati 990 on overrun (Randy Mamola was riding it - a double treat) . Whoooweee!

Re: ROSSI WINS AGAIN!!
I don't think you can say anything bad about Rossi as far as I know. I have only seen him race at the Indianapolis Moto GP and it was obvious why he beat Nicky, he is just amazingly smooth. I too think it's cool he's won so many championships, but I personally have an issue with calling him the GOAT, although he is awasome. I just have an exceptionlly strong opinion that Kenny Roberts Sr. is the GOAT. He managed to win just about every type Grand National, National and World championship during his careeer street and dirt (no motocross champ as I remeber). I saw KR run the Indy Mile several times, including the '75 race aboard the TZ 750, and the man could make a bike do some incredible things.Columbia03BMW wrote: Probably the best rider to ever live, and will be for a long time.
Just my opinion, and still congrats to Valentino
