Instalation of 12 Volt Acc. Plug

Post by MJB »

I have purchased a 12 volt Accessory plug for my bike.
Instructions state: Connect Red Wire to Positive Side of Battery.
Connect Black wire to Ground.

As we have the Canbus system, what is the best way to ground the accessory.
I do not want the plug connected to any part of the Canbus System.
I would prefer is "Stand Alone"

Run the ground wire to the negative terminal on the battery.
