Aloha All
It has been a while since I posted, I was wondering if anyone of you know where I can buy a set of Fuel injectors for the R 1150 RS I don't know if the R1150R injectors are the same. Anyhow if someone knows can you pass the info to me, I really don't want to purchase them here in Hawaii....the dealer sucks and they inflate the prices big time.
Aloha

The following can supply what you want http://www.rceng.com/
However, if I might ask, what do you want the injectors for.....I think I know but want to hear it from you. There are some caveats that you need to be aware of.....

Good to hear from you, I'm sick and tired of the bike not idling correctly....I've done T/B sinks, tested fuel preassure, changed fuel filter, made sure that I have no vacum leaks, replaced vacum hoses from the T/B's to the canister....
Initially I thought that the spray pattern on the injectors was good however after further review I noticed that at certain throtle positions one of the injectors does not spray as much fuel as the other one....but that does not explain why the thing just does not idle right. I can get it to idle more or less at 1200RPM's but it sputters and misses....
Tell me what issues will I encounter if I replace the injectors? I thought it was a straight deal. Don't tell me that this also a pain....Oh by the way I did re-adjust the valves, etc, etc, etc.
Muchas Gracias.

There is currently a 2002 R1150R being parted out on ebay, perhaps he may have what your looking for. The engine did run before he started pulling it apart, he had a video to show the bike running.

Let's forget the new injectors for now. Based on your write up I would mark the injectors as to their position, remove them and take them to have them cleaned and flowed, I'm sure there are shops in Hawaii, ask someone that races cars. If there are any problems they will surface. If I remeber correctly the one's on our bikes are the 290 cc ones.
The cleaning and flowing should cost you $25 to $30 per, they will also replace the pintle (don't ask) and the o-rings.
Did you check the gasoline filter?
Keep me posted......

Well, then pul the injectors and have them cleaned and flowed.....of course it can also be a faulty Hall effect sensor.....

Unfortunatelly in Hawaii there is no decent injector cleaning service.....I think I'll send mine to Torrance.
