WILDPIG RIDES THE R1200R........AND TAKES DELIVERY
IMPRESSIONS== WHAT A BIKE. put 200 miles on it yesterday,, execellant acceleration, woulda thought the tranny to shift a lil smoother,, only suprise was the decelleration in 6th gear,,, prolly due to the torque/hi compression motor of the boxer engine,, a great bike i will keep. full set o givi's, tinted sport windshield-- an the folks of cape fear bmw, wilmington nc -- first class treatment. hard to keep hand outta throttle.

an i forgot to mention-- i have an exceedingly fast hd springer badboy --highly modified,, the boxer will eat it in the 1/4 mile -i think. i do like that boxer however-- i may be wrong but i think one can if good enuff virtually scrape the cylinder heads on ocassion without droppin the bike-- will have to learn lean angle factor on this bike.

I will admit that my chicken strips are pretty wide.

There's more room than you might think!

wildpig I sure would like to see a photo of those Givi's.been thinkin about adding them myself to my R1200R.As a long time harley rider myself I too have enjoyed this switch to the other Twin.I still have my roadking which I still enjoy, and will continue to for sure, but the 7,000 miles I got on the R has been a blast.I got the high seat for myself and a low seat just in case the wife would like to give it a try even though at 5'2" she's a lot tippy toe'd,seems like she's always grab'em that key when it's time to ride.May have to add another soon. I'll be a lookin for some pic's.
