Shifting....again

Post by RRDallas »

I know that this is a common topic of discussion but I am puzzled by my bike's dislike for shifting into 3rd gear. It often seems that I need to give the lever an extra nudge or a second try. Every other gear flows very well. It's a bit of a head-scratcher.

That being said, this bike is an absolute joy. I just took her for a spin this a.m. After a stressful week at work, I feel a lot better about all kinds of things. Hope everyone is getting some riding time today and tomorrow.

Changed out gear and final drive oil to synthetic 75/90. Much cleaner shifts. still doesnt want first from nuetral once in a while.
