Back on the bike!

Post by wncbmw »

Having just returned Thursday from the "Wife's Retirement/Empty Nest Alaskan Trip", I can say 3 weeks off the bike was too much! It was very nice to run a gas tank out today on the local twisties without getting off! Nice fall day in the mountains!

I have also determined that the trip will serve as my own preliminary scouting trip for a motorcycle ride up there one day before too long!

My wife and I have been riding quite a bit the last couple weeks in the same area. We usually take off for a day or two and ride the same area. Trying to get as much riding in as we can before heading south to Florida.......357 miles, 11 curves.

I like that. I'll use it on my I-95 ride tee shirt, when I make one. Instead of the "Tail of the Dragon" it'll be the "Tail of the Rat".
