I have had a Big Mak bag for at least four years. They work very well. It flips up easily for getting, uh, petrol. The quality is good, but mine has faded from the sun.

Looks are subjective, but I think mine is sort of ugly. That is my only complaint. Other than that, what's not to like?

What else do you want to know?

I don't know if I have the same model as the one you are looking at, but you can see mine in these pics

I have had a Big Mak and used it daily for about three years. At first I thought it was great, but on my first ride I noticed that the rear of the bag 'floated' at some speeds on the highway. I had to put a disc lock at the very back edge of the bag to prevent this. I also discovered that the platen, or platform that kept the bag from touching the tank, deformed with even modest amounts of weight. I ended up purchasing an aluminum replacement from Big Mak, that they obviously make to address this issue, but don't make standard. I agree that the quality is just so-so. I did not realize this until I got the bag I replaced it with, a Marsee Corona. The quality of this is just outstanding and really put the Big Mak to shame. I put Scotchgard on mine several times but also noticed the fading mentioned above.

After having one I can't really recommend one. YMMV
