Better look for EZ-Pass (toll tag) cover

Post by r12r-don »

My colleagues have gotten swept up in my excitement for my new R12R. So much so they are helping me accessorize the bike and maintain the nice look. The first target was the EZ pass tumor on the front windshield.

They recommended this and I think it is a good idea.

Before I made the massive investment of $8  I thought I would ask if anyone had any other interesting solutions for hiding or covering these necessary little boogers.

Forget the suction cups on the windshield. Your EZPass with have a half life measured in days. Gone at 70mph.

I put my EZPass on my GPS, using Dual Lock tape.

Dual Lock has sustained 110mph full on wind, and my EZPass has not budged. You can see it here on my Garmin Street Pilot III sun visor.

When I will be going through the toll booths I always have my tank bag on. So, I put the tag in the bag, velcro'd to the front so it won't shift. Works for me.

I live just outside of Manhattan. Tolls are like a plague around here so I must have it more readily accessible all the time. More of a permanent fixture on the bike. which is why I'm looking to hide it or make it look better.
