...and Rizoma makes some nice adjustable rearsets for some BMWs, as evidenced by this http://www.rizoma.at/Prodotti/ProdottiS ... tegoria=16
(can't find 'em for the R's though. It might be worth looking into) Good luck!

Nether of those rear-sets fit an R12R :(

You guys are right, upgrading the suspension would probably fix my issues. The problem is that I could get a entire track bike for that price! Not doing a track day again till spring, so I've got some time to mull my options, but im leaning towards getting a older SV-650. That way I won't feel so bad if I dump it.

That's the way I would go, you can't expect one bike to do everything. Personally I would be a lot more comfortable out there on a SV-650 than a R1200R for a whole bunch of reasons. First would be financial. But then I'm not the Hot Shoe that many of the people on this list report to be :-k .

They just don't know! Anybody? Rick
If you have the F800S why not take some measurements or just unbolt them and try it?
Mike
Thanks for the idea Mike but the F800S has clip ons (whole different triple clamp as well) and of course the R1200R has a straight bar. I did see/read, that someone used a straight bar from a F800ST and turned it upside down and it worked well with just a tiny bit of clearance issues. I may go that route. :)
