It's beautiful. I want one. I especially like how the passenger seat folds out of the way.

I still think the Super Glide is the greatest deal among Harleys, at 12 grand:

New Nightster Sportster has a cool look:

Did you know ABS is available on V-rods and Touring models at Harley? 800 dollar option, I believe.

Still love the Buells:

Looks like they're responding to the pressure put on by "custom" builders such as Ness and Big Dog. As such, they're nice looking additions.

H-D Buell 2008 lineup

Yeah, that Rocker's got nice lines for a pub crawler.

Buell's new 1125R is really shaking up the Buell community!

Think I'll stick with my good ol' Buell XB9S, though... simple, fun, and cheap these days (if someone "needed" a little v-twin play bike).

Wish we lived closer, Lee, for trackdays with your SV and my XB!

xb9s, eh? I've heard the 9 motor (really nearer 1000cc) revs quite a bit more freely than the 12 in the xb12s. Have you ridden both? Have a preference?

I like the look of the Rocker too, but I'm not keen on any of those small headlamps - is it considered cool in the US? They are also going to be priced at nearly £13,000 UK pounds Sterling here too (ie: double in dollars...)

There's a very mean looking Fat Bob coming though with twin headlamps which looks the business, but also £10,525 :

New styles.
No new technology.
No new bike features.

Kinda like a NYC Fashion show, just moving around 50 years of design combinations using the same old fabrics.

Suzuki Intruder VS1400 (Now S83)
Power 72 hp (53.7 kW) @ 4800 rpm
Torque 115 Nm (84.8 ft. lbs) @ 3200 rpm

Harley Davidson Wide Glide
Power 70 hp (52.2 kW) @ 5500 rpm
Torque 106 Nm (78.2 ft. lbs) @ 4000 rpm

Yeah SJ, but they've almost got that new 96" engine up to the power of the Suzuki Intruder 1400 air/oil cooled V-Twin motor, which was introduced in the early 1980's, I believe.

Hmmm...

Wide Glide at $12,500
Intruder at street price of $6,999
